Our client is a North American leader in the land registry space. They are looking for a Int Test Automation Engineer (Serenity/SOAP UI) to implement Automation Test Tools.

As part of a horizontally engaged team, this role will engage with QA SME's, Developers and System Architects to understand application / solution requirements and assist specialized services team in the development of test automation strategies, approaches and implementation plans utilizing test automation best practices in addition to creation, maintenance and support for automation artifacts as requested.  Passion for innovation, quality, automation and drive for success will be the key enablers for this role.

  • Testing frameworks – serenity, robot framework, selenium, soap UI, ready API and JMeter. Developed frameworks from scratch is an Asset. Config and develop components of the frameworks. Ie Accessibility automated testing, enterprise workflow integrated into platform AODA implementation developed.
  • This resource will develop, maintain, and complete the automation of existing enterprise frameworks. They will be innovating and developing new ways of working with their existing tool stack, and evolving the enterprise framework on a daily basis.
  • The resource will also research new standards and practices and develop hands on scripts in this role. Innovation will be roughly 20% of the responsibilities of this position.

Must Haves:
  • Automation Test tool implementation experience (this will be roughly 50% of the role)
  • PowerShell experience
  • Experience with Automation scripts and frameworks
  • Developing frameworks from scratch with Serenity and SoapUI and enhancing existing frameworks
  • Strong experience using PL-SQL for queries creation and maintenance
