Intermediate Application Support Developer with C# (VB.NET) to maintain legacy systems providing bug fixes and enhancements (6 month contract)

Our large Oil and Gas sector client is seeking an Intermediate Application Support Analyst (C#.NET/VB.NET) to maintain legacy systems providing bug fixes and enhancements (6month contract)

This role requires you to be in office 5 days per week

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a C#/VB.Net developer maintaining legacy systems, providing bug fixes and enhancements for numerous applications
• Experience with ASP.net development
• Experience with database development (Oracle PL/SQL)
• Experience with stored procedures and queries (preferred Oracle Toad)
• Experience with SSRS (MS Server Reporting Services)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Rest API’s, Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks
• Agile experience
• Visual Studio
• Azure DevOps
• Remedy
• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Access

Key Accountabilities:

• Analysis, design, maintenance of legacy applications, and development of modern single page applications/progressive web applications.
• Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications and documentation
• Troubleshoot applications, fix application bugs and/or data errors that are identified
• Effectively support multiple initiatives and demonstrate the ability to handle complex work with a logical and pragmatic approach
• Work and learn in a team environment dedicated to customer service
