One of our BC Health authorities are looking for is Intermediate Business Analyst to support the gathering and documentation of business requirements needed to implement IT infrastructure, cloud, and other strategic initiatives

Contract engagement:  6 months with high probability of extensions. The individual may work remotely but proximity or availability to attend on site meetings is desirable.


Must Have:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst leading and delivering large complex IT projects
  • 4+ years of experience implementing IT infrastructure and Cloud (AWS or Azure)
  • Knowledge and demonstrated success in workflow analysis or business process re-engineering 

Nice to Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities
Responsibilities:
  • Leading site strategic implementation sessions with clinical/operational/business leadership committees,
  • Leading tactical implementation sessions with programs and departments,
  • Designing and deploying strategic project implementation approaches with programs and departments,
  • Validating and documenting current state and future state workflows for specific IT use cases with engaged programs/departments,
  • Identifying and facilitating any updates required to existing policies, guidelines and processes that impact the use of changing technologies,
  • Supporting the development of change management tactics, mobile application toolkits, instructions, and training materials,
  • Developing or assisting in the development of design documents, requirements analysis, testing plans, test cases, use cases, process flows, procedures, and policies,
  • Supporting the development of business cases and briefing notes as required,
