What project will this contractor be working on? 50% this resource will be supporting Product launches, system upgrades/changes, all with varying finance impacts (ex. assessing accounting policies).

Job Description:

Operational Support – daily (50%)

               • Data transformation and analysis of source product system output to create required manual posting to the GL

               • Reconcile GL control accounts to source product system output

               • Reconcile daily cash settlements between source systems and legal entities

               • Investigate and resolve differences between source systems and the GL

Project Support (50%)

               • Supports multiple business-sponsored projects (retail, wealth and commercial products)

               • Assessment of project scope and deliverables for impact to financial accounting, reporting and internal controls

               • Identify and submit business requirements

               • Assist in the development of test scenarios and cases, participate in UAT and BAT

               • Assist in post-implementation validation


Must Have Requirement:

               • Project experience

               • Strong accounting background and working knowledge of accounting systems and processes

               • Ability to assess source system architecture, risks and controls

               • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – interaction with multiple business partners

               • Advanced MS Excel skills / knowledge


Nice to Have:

               • Working knowledge of Broadridge RBroker and RTerm applications

               • Understanding of broker dealer back office processes

               - Able to ask what-if questions and interpret who to connect with to get these answers.

               - Adaptable

               - Strong initiative


Supplier Call Notes:

               - Not for someone who is looking for procedural work - this role will require thinking outside of the box and adaption.

               - Ideally has strong accounting background but also skilled in project management
