Business Analyst-
Location: 4 King Street W, 13th Floor - hybrid - onsite as needed (approx. once a month)
Duration: ASAP – 10/31/2023 with very high chance of extension
Story behind the need:
Business group: Global Compliance Transformation Program Office - With changing regulations the team is remediating various aspects of the program (monitoring, regulatory libraries etc.) This team reviews the end to end process of compliance to uplift the program while also managing regulator expectations.
Project: BA's will be working on implementation of new Compliance Risk Assessment methodology. Key deliverables include developing business requirements, writing users stories, creating testing scripts and providing post implementation support to end users
Responsbilties:
- Taking design changes into technology
- Perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Create test cases and execute end-to-end testing of solution
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
- In July will start business requirement documentation then leads into writing user stories for system build. Then they will have to write test scripts in September/ October then provide post implementation support.
Must have skills:
1. 8+ years of Business Analyst experience
2. Experience in current vs. future state analysis
3. Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
4. Ability to translate data into something meaningful (reporting, pivot tables)
5. 5+ years of Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have skills:
1. Compliance experience
2. Banking experience
3. Data Analytics experience
4. Experience reporting processes
Education/ years of overall experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required preferred
