Intermediate IT Analyst to support the the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of a multi-platform environment of servers, databases, applications and local and wide area networks

Our Victoria public sector client is seeking an Intermediate IT Analyst to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of a multi-platform environment of servers, databases, applications and local and wide area networks.

Permanent full-time position, remote work available, must be located in BC, may require travel.

Must-Have Skills:

• Skilled in heterogeneous IT environment with multiple operating systems (Example: Windows, Linux, Unix, macOS)
• Strong knowledge in developing, monitoring, and editing relational databases, data analysis and report writing tools and concepts, including MySQL, SQL, Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to work with accepted IT standards, including, but not limited to ITIL, COBIT, ISO, SANS, NIST;
• Previous experience managing Identity and Access Management (end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with organizational controls regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance)
