Description
This role participates in the analysis, design, implementation, testing and maturation of operational, strategic, and project-based objectives. The position ensures the execution and adherence of AU’s development practices. An understanding of DevSecOps practices with the capacity to incorporate DevSecOps concerns into applications and APIs. This position assists the Manager, DevSecOps in identifying, addressing, and monitoring the effectiveness and quality of software implementations. The Product Developer will be assigned to technical squads and will participate in squad activities as required by the squad Product Owner and squad Technical Lead.
 
Responsibilities
  • Participates in implementation cycles and contributes feedback to improve the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Assists in the testing and deployment of AU applications
  • Provides technical user support for AU applications
  • Contributes to the definition and analysis of user stories, work breakdowns, software defects, and acceptance criteria
  • Creation of technical and user documentation as needed
  • Recommends improvements to practice, process, and implementation when appropriate
  • Ensures security practices are implemented in system implementations, testing, and configuration
  • Creates, maintains, and shares the necessary documentation to support solutions in keeping with AU’s IT Policies and Procedures
