Intermediate level Project Coordinator required for Infrastructure-Cybersecurity Program (2022-045)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of an Intermediate level Project Coordinator for their Infrastructure-Cybersecurity Program.

Role:

The Cybersecurity and Networking State of Good Repair (SOGR) projects are looking for an IT Project Coordinator with relevant experience to support the management and monitoring of the various initiatives under the projects.
 
The Cybersecurity program is undertaken to address the growing concern of cyberattacks. The mandate is to successfully identify, manage, and mitigate information and cybersecurity risks across Client’s environments and information systems through appropriate controls and measures.
 
As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following: 

• Working closely with stakeholders to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources and timeframes
• Performing various coordinating tasks such as schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties like maintaining project documentation
• Organizing meetings and workshops, including preparation of supporting materials, meeting minutes, and follow ups
• Updating and maintaining program and project data on the SharePoint project collaboration workspace

MUST HAVE:

• Post-Secondary Education (or equivalent experience) in a Business, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Knowledge and experience in implementing projects in areas of networking infrastructure and cybersecurity
• At least 7+ years’ experience in a project coordinating role
• Proven ability to develop and maintain project schedules in MS Project
