Our telecommunications client is seeking an Intermediate Marketing Manager to support and execute robust community marketing strategies in South Vancouver Island - 18380

Initially a 12 months contract with possibility of extensions. Travel around Victoria, BC is involved; attending events : Festivals, trade shows (may require working on week-ends). Candidates MUST be local to Victoria. 

Must Have:
  • 2+ years supporting and executing end-to-end community marketing strategies, campaigns and programs; driving positive business outcomes in our areas of strategic opportunity, tracking and reporting outcomes.
  • Excellent command of market knowledge to build, secure alignment, and execute an integrated marketing strategy (including multiple programs – cross portfolio, cross channel, cross function)
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated
Nice to Have:
  • Strong experience presenting ideas to senior leaders (director and above)
  • Proven Risk management and conflict resolution skills
Responsibilities: 
  • You will support the execution of a community marketing strategy, elevating business outcomes in strategic areas of opportunity on South Vancouver Island. You will work with sales channels partners to generate strong outcomes at community activations, driving market growth of the suite of TELUS services.
  • Contribute to and influence the strategic planning process; applies economic, political, industry and marketplace knowledge to create profitable opportunities for the company. Clearly links business plan to strategic imperatives and corporate vision. Support and develop contingency plans for possible industry scenarios.
  • Support and communicate future vision & urgency for change. Influences organizational change within and across business units and departments.
  • Provide recommendations on anticipated business, community and strategic implications of business practices
  • Responsible and accountable for the end-to-end execution of a marketing strategy campaign, program and/or initiative including tracking and reporting outcomes.
  • Leverage command of market knowledge to build, secure alignment, and execute an integrated marketing strategy (including multiple programs – cross portfolio, cross channel, cross function)
  • Understand the competitive landscape to quantify the threat of competitive developments and identify appropriate action/responses by TELUS by working with a cross functional team.
