S.i. Systems enterprise public secter client is seeking an Intermediate Scrum Master to facilitate, guide agile pods and deliver work using SAFe methodology.

The company has transformed into the leading DevOps / Agile organization in the BC public sector!

Currently the client is a hybrid model, going to the office 1 day per month.


JOB DUTIES:

• Guiding the team through the scrum process
• Helping to remove any impediments blocking progress as they work to provide internal and external customers with exceptional products
• Assisting others with their work in order to ensure the team as a whole is successful
• Ensuring support of the production applications meet the expected service levels of our customers
• Guiding, coaching, and educating product owners and development teams through sprints, story development, iterations, retrospectives, product backlog management and decision making
• Creatively promoting an open, transparent, and respectful team environment

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 2+ years Scrum Master experience
• 1 year experience working with Azure 
• 4+ years experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment, with prior roles as a BA, business engineer, product owner / product manager, pr software engineer 
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification such as CSPO, CSD, CSP or PMI-ACP. CDA
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or commitment to get certified within 2 months from commencement of work at your own cost ($200, 16 hours, arranged by client)
• Willing to comply with Covid Safety Policy
