Business Group: Data Enablement & Architecture

Project: The Technical Business Analyst will leverage Metadata effectively and support project-based initiatives to implement Metadata standards and Metadata solution adoption.

Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in the bank-wide implementation and adoption of Collibra as a metadata solution to enable full data management and will also play a critical role in decommissioning legacy metadata tools by migrating the business domain’s metadata to Collibra, the enterprise Metadata Management platform

Typical Day in Role
•Strong experience in gathering business requirements, then translating them to technical requirements and user stories
• Support the implementation and adoption of target state Metadata solution Collibra (henceforth mentioned as product) across the enterprise
• Execute the migration tasks for each business domain from legacy tools to the enterprise product - Collibra
• Work in an Agile mindset to accelerate the delivery of Metadata product capabilities
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day

Must-Have skills:
• 4-5 years of experience as Technical Business Analyst 
• 1+ years of hands-on Collibra experience with strong process documentation to identify Collibra workflow requirements
• Familiarity with the Data Management and Data Governance concepts along with metadata fundamentals
• Understanding of tools for building information catalogs that offer features such as data catalog, data ingestion flows, data lineage, process flows, consumption searches, etc.
• Productivity/Project collaboration tools experience: Confluence, Jira, SharePoint

Nice to Have Skills
• Other metadata management tools such as Talend, IBM IGC, Alation, etc.
• Experience in large-scale and complex governance solutions
• Cloud platforms and related data services knowledge (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) GCP Preferred

• University degree in computer science or a quantitative field
•Collibra Solutions Architect Learning Path Certification is a plus
