Our client has an immedate requirement for an Intermediate Technical Supervisor for an IT Systems team to oversee  hardware and application support for multiple business units and lab environments.

1-year assignment with extension

Must Have:
  • 5+ years of  IT experience plus 2+ years of supervisory experience for a technical support team (team of 6-8)
  • Experience with IT Service Management Software\Ticketing Systems
  • Experience in managing Service Desk incidents\requests
  • General technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on computer software and hardware, and other educational technology
  • ITIL Foundations

Responsibilties:
  • Oversee the technology in classrooms including desktops and peripherals and their IT adjacent hardware, enterprise and designated applications
  • Oversee the support team’s daily activities and performance including management of service ticket queue
  • Develop relationships with business units to advise and plan for IT upgrades (Hardware & Software) and regular maintenance
  • Represent ITS regarding technology in classroom renovation projects
  • Ensure professional and prompt response of escalated IT service tickets
  • Collaborate with other managers and supervisors in the ITS and Service Desk teams to establish and maintain a current service catalogue defining problem resolution expectations and timeframes.
  • Coordinate and delegate resources to resolve complex technical issues that have been escalated by the Service Desk or other ITS teams
  • Conduct performance management, coaching and mentoring of staff, including professional development plans, laddering opportunities, and recognition.
