Our client has an immedate requirement for an Intermediate Technical Supervisor for an IT Systems team to oversee hardware and application support for multiple business units and lab environments.

Must Have:
- 5+ years of IT experience plus 2+ years of supervisory\team lead experience for a technical support team (team of 6-8)
- Experience as liason between IT and multiple business units for future technology planning and upgrades
- Experience with IT Service Management Software\Ticketing Systems
- Experience in managing Service Desk incidents\requests
- General technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on software and hardware, and other educational technology
- ITIL Foundations
Responsibilties:
- Oversee the technology in classrooms including desktops and peripherals and their IT adjacent hardware, enterprise and designated applications
- Oversee the support team’s daily activities and performance including management of service ticket queue
- Develop relationships with business units to advise and plan for IT upgrades (Hardware & Software) and regular maintenance
- Represent ITS regarding technology in classroom renovation projects
- Ensure professional and prompt response of escalated IT service tickets
- Collaborate with other managers and supervisors in the ITS and Service Desk teams to establish and maintain a current service catalogue defining problem resolution expectations and timeframes.
- Coordinate and delegate resources to resolve complex technical issues that have been escalated by the Service Desk or other ITS teams
- Conduct performance management, coaching and mentoring of staff, including professional development plans, laddering opportunities, and recognition.
