Our global enterprise client is seeking a Tier 2 It Administator. Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the resource will support both remotely and by ocassional on-site The position requires occasional site visits.
Responsibilities:
Degree or diploma in IT, computer science or similar
Two or more years of experience in an IT role
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to onsite and off-site office tickets in the IT ticket system
- Provide support to and prepares IT requirements for delivery of new products based on established hardware guidelines
- Provides day-to-day administration of IT services as it relates to IT operations including but not limited to software under our support guide, satellite connectivity, servers, storage, networking, operating systems and core network services DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Resolve ship problems: based on their complexity and/or urgency, oversee ship IT issues. Scope covers all vessel infrastructure tier 1 to 3 of IT systems.
- Respond to Tier 1 and 2 Infrastructure tickets
- Escalate problem ticket to Tier-3 level support – Infrastructure and Business Applications.
- User support and IT training
- On-site to resolve IT issues and audit active configurations for compliance with Enterprise standard
- Develop and document systems and procedures
