Our valued client is looking for a Jnr Desktop Support Technician responsible for end user computing, network, telephony and account issues.

Initial 10 month contract with potential of renewal. 100% onsite in Ottawa!

Responsibilities: 
  • Desktop support: responsible for end user computing, network, telephony and account issues.
  • Conference rooms & A/V: maintain equipment  in conference rooms and support additional audio/video requirements for other events including town-hall meetings, VTC support and webcasts.
  • Printer support: troubleshoot and support printer and copier problems.
  • Windows OS installation: test and deploy windows images to the clients systems.
  • IT purchase requisitioning: Work with vendors to identify products and pricing as required by the IT department.
  • Maintain inventory of computer hardware and other IT equipment
  • Assist senior administrators testing and troubleshooting VPN, network, applications and servers.
Must Have Skills:
  • 1+ year experience with Deskside Support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and M365.
  • Experience supporting multiple operating systems and a multitude of standard and non-standard software.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
