Jr. Group Benefits Administration Specialist to monitor and action incoming mail for a large insurance client - 4733

Duration: 6 months (possibility for extension)

Location: Remote (Waterloo and Montreal)

Work Hours: Preferably 7:00 to 3:00 or 7:30 to 3:30 (flexible)

This individual will be a part of and work closely with members of the Group Benefit National Workflow Team, in a fast paced environment to ensure service standards are met daily.

Must Have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Excellent keyboarding and computer skills (Lotus Notes, Outlook, Excel & Word)

Nice To Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Group Benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage requests and inquiries via various inboxes, maintaining service levels standards  
• Monitor the inboxes for incoming emails. Attention to detail in ensuring each email is handled correctly.
• Prioritize and assign work items in workflow tool based on set criteria
• Retrieving, downloading and distributing of daily reports
• Filing, photocopying and preparation of documents for off-site storage
• Sort and distribute incoming hard copy mail or faxes and scan paper mail as requested   
• Support additional functions critical to operations such as managing small projects, perform manual member transactions, or any other task as requested 
• Continually strive for process improvement by recommending and implementing change in current practices and procedures
