Jr. Quality Assurance Specialist supporting the quality assurance for application solutions within a Digital Transformation Project

Our client is looking for a Jr. Quality Assurance Specialist supporting the quality assurance for application solutions within a Digital Transformation Project.

Must Have's:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA
• Creating and conducting automated, regression, and functional testing
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Test Case Administration: Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, ensuring accurate documentation

Nice to Have's:

• Previous experience in supporting large scale projects
• Experience using Xray, TestRail, Katalon, PostMan, JIRA, JMeter, SQL, Selenium
• Experiences with testing Mobile applications and large set of data migration
• Understand Agile and Waterfall concepts

Responsibilities:

Development & Testing (60%)

• Participate in and contribute to Test Plan development
• Utilize the test management tool to create test cases and suites for each level of testing - functional in sprints, API, UI, data validation, end-to-end, performance, security, regression, and release tests
• Support UAT testing, and provide assistance on application incident resolution
• Participate in and contribute to user story reviews and provide estimations for test effort
• Assist in trouble-shooting and resolving application production issues or incident tickets

Planning & Projects (30%)

• Prepare and present workstream test plans, and reporting documents
• Identify, recommend, support, and implement new or modified approaches, policies, and procedures to maximize productivity and member/client experience
• As part of a scrum team, work in close collaboration with a team of specialists - developers, domain subject matter experts, and business representatives
