Our Calgary client is looking for a Junior Application Support Analyst with SQL and Python experience to script and perform database queries to resolve web-based application issues.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years experience as an Application Support Analyst
• MS SQL, Python, and PowerShell coding and scripting experience
• Jira experience
• SQL databases and relational database (MS-QL & MYSQL) experience
• Continuous Integration experience and related tools such as Git

Nice to Haves:

• Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) experience
• OpenText DCM or SharePoint experience
• Upstream Oil and Gas industry related experience
• Cloud infrastrucutre (Azure, AWS) experience

Responsibilities:

• Performing analysis, troubleshooting, identifying root cause and resolution of support inquiries
• Creating and maintaining operational support documentation
• Technical Administration within ITSM tool using ITIL best practices
• Performing various database related tasks
• Proactive systems monitoring
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
• Ensuring software being transitioned to the team for support is stable and sustainable by guiding project teams during warranty periods
