Our client is seeking a Junior Business Analyst (3+ years) with IT project experience to support a cybersecurity team

100% remote 7-month contract (with the possibility of extension).

Must have:

·        Previous experience as a Junior Business Analyst (3+years) supporting IT projects (application or infrastructure) in an enterprise organization

·        Good Process Modeling experience using Visio

·        Good requirements gathering and documentation experience

·        Some exposure to or understanding of any of the following security functions: TRA (threat and risk assessments), NGFW, VPN, IPS/IDS, Vulnerability Management, IAM (Identity Access Management), SIEM (Security Information and event management), Endpoint security, Threat Intelligence, Zero-trust

Nice to have:

·        Certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA

·        Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies

·        Previous experience on cybersecurity projects

·        Understanding of DevOps

What you will be doing:

·        Assist and support cyber security architects to conduct initial interviews to form a risk view and then communicate risk assessment

·        Initial point of contact for project teams wanting to engage the cybersecurity team

·        Collecting artifacts for assessments and close off cyber security TRA engagements

·        Identify and recommend process improvements related to business processes within the cyber security TRA service

·        Collaborate with other team members and analysts to ensure consistency and best practices in service delivery across the cyber security TRA portfolio stack

·        Assist with QA on projects to ensure procedures and processes are being complete

·        Create documentation and templates
