Our valued financial client is seeking a Junior Deskside Support Technician to support a major Windows 10 hardware evergreening for a major financial client!
Initial 1-year contract in Ottawa, ON (Fully on-site, with a possibility of an additional 2 year extension).
As the successful candidate, you will assist in the replacement of ~350 Windows 10 PCs with new modern hardware, and provide ongoing technical and hardware support for staff returning to the office from an 100% remote environment.
Responsibilities:

As the successful candidate, you will assist in the replacement of ~350 Windows 10 PCs with new modern hardware, and provide ongoing technical and hardware support for staff returning to the office from an 100% remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, move, set up and provide ongoing support to all clients for desktop and laptop computers
- Install and configure software
- Provide technical problem-solving guidance and advice to users in person and remotely by phone
- Provide input into the creation and ongoing maintenance of a knowledge base on technical issues
- Provide input into the ongoing amendment of supporting standards, guidelines, and documentation
- Provide support as needed in the Asset Management process
- Deliver high-quality customer service to users within service levels
- Support project initiatives related to the client's desktop environment
- 3+ years of recent work experience in an information technology service desk as a deskside technician, in an operational environment supporting Windows 10
- Demonstrated recent experience with a desktop hardware evergreen in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated experience with SCCM and Active Directory
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and ensure accuracy in a high-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
