Our Financial Services Client is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer (Java/Javascript) to develop new systems and new functionalities required to support the Retail Business and Wealth Management (RBWM) group - 39452 

6 months contract to start, possibility of extension. 100% remote for now, 2-3 days in office when back to office (Vancouver). 

Must Haves:
  • 3+ years hand on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Web 2.0 application development.
  • Strong technical experience on client-side development (HTML/CSS/Javascript) and server-side development (Java 8, J2EE, Spring Framework) is essential
  • Knowledge and experience with Spring Integration, React JS, Node JS, NPM and Kong/Mulesoft API Gateway and Services

Nice to Haves:
  • Kong/Mulesoft API Gateway and Services.
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Familiarity in continuous build/integration/deployment tools including Maven, Jenkins, Git. 
  • Familiarity with App Dynamics, Splunk and Jira would be preferable, but not essential.

Responsiblities:
• Work closely with technical lead to understand the requirements and take it to implementation.
• Responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from build, deploy to on-going production support, fully hands-on for client or server side development, or both.
• Maintain expert knowledge in specialized systems or in multiple systems.
• Manage own tasks within large or critical projects to assure objectives are met on time and within cost.
• Prepare functional and detailed specifications for large systems.
• Provide support in planning, designing, programming, documentation and implementation of systems.
• Perform reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity and accomplishment of stated objectives.
