Our energy client is looking for a Junior Lab Sampling Technician to collect, analyze, and manage environmental samples from an oil and gas field site.

Must Haves:

• Experience analyzing samples in a laboratory environment
• Working experience in environmental field sampling, testing, and related protocols

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine sampling tasks throughout the plant site, field and laboratory of varying matrixes to support critical and core analysis
• Support lab operation, safety and environmental systems
• Support stakeholders on projects, R&D and operations optimization
• Perform routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis as requested/required in support of stakeholders and co-workers
• Sample logging into SampleManager
• Communicate with Operations on plant issues impacting sampling and safety
• Identify issues that impact safety, environment and/or production
