MLL-126-0523 our client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to develop a major/critical incident response plan and associated processes for infrastructure and application security wthin a retail crown corporation environment (Remote)

Must Haves: 
  • 7+ years of  experience within IT Service Management
  • 7+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure projects
  • 7+ years of experience with Cyber Security projects
  • ITIL V3 or 3rd party major incident management training or certification is required (more than ITIL Foundation is required)
  • 5+ years of experience developing incident response and Cyber Security incident response playbooks and disaster record plans
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a major/critical incident response plan and associated processes
  • A major/critical incident is of high impact and can result in significant disruption to the business and is broader in scope than cyber security incidents. The plan, roles, processes should provide a means to:   
    • Classify a major incident
    • Provide communication plans
    • Assign the various roles for incident handling and stakeholder communication
    • Include training and orientation for ITS staff involved in major incident response
    • Include tabletop exercises to ensure team understands roles and responsibilities
    • Incident response plan will need to integrate with service management, manager and on-call responsibilities, cybersecurity incident response playbooks and disaster record plan
    • Plan needs to include steps that provide detection and notification, impact assessment, respond and recover, and follow-up
    • Repeatable processes for root cause analysis/post incident review to generate actionable lessons learned and major incident plan process improvements
  • Develop reference table material for roles, responsibilities, communications, stakeholder lists, post major incident review/lessons learned, and other associated processes
  • Experience developing, documenting and establishing an IT major/critical incident response plan
  • Experience in the execution, response, and management of IT systems major incidents
