MLL-139 our client is seeking an Intermediate IT Project Manager to support the Director on a variety of Information and Technology innitiatives in the retail industry. (REMOTE)


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience delivering diverse Information Technology Projects
  • 5+ years experience with budget management and financial tracking
  • Experience developing business cases
  • Experience planning and managing projects in a Public Sector organization


Nice to Haves:

  • Prince2 Certification considered as asset 

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have Windows based computer with standard Windows 10 applications
  • Must possess own communication device


 Responsibilities:

  • Assist with current and future business planning
  • Budget preparation
  • Running internal department initiatives
  • Responsible for coordinating reports and documentation that support the collection of and review of initiatives within the portfolio
  • Plan, organize and manage some or all aspects of a project, including project initiation, planning, execution and closure. Projects will vary in complexity, duration, approach and technology
  • Budget development, tracking, and variance reporting
  • Resource planning and assignment
  • Project tracking and status reporting
  • Issue management, including issue logging, tracking, and escalation
  • Project change management, utilizing the change control process to manage changes to project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Quality management, including review and assurance of deliverables prior to acceptance
  • Risk management, including risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking risk status, and initiating contingency plans
  • Communication management, including communication planning and execution of the plan
  • Deliverable acceptance process, including identification of who will be accepting project deliverables and the process that will be used
