Our retail client is looking for a POS & Support Technician Lead who can be a mentor and motivate the team while assessing and driving process improvements   

Permanent position, Hybrid in Winnipeg

Must Have
  • 4+ years’ experience in an IT Service Desk environment
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead or proven leadership capabilities  
 
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience working with retail Point of Sale systems, such as Xstore, SAP, Aptos, or RetailOne
  • Previous experience working in a Retail environment  
  • Strong working knowledge of PC systems, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assisting stores by solving register problem calls and following up with all outside service providers
  • Providing timely and efficient "self-maintenance" of Point-of-Sale hardware to all stores
  • Delivering cost effective service and maintenance of POS equipment in the stores
  • Conducting regular POS inventories and providing information to ensure adequate supply of parts.
