The Bank's Compliance Transformation Program is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Conflict Management project team. The initiative is a multi-year program that includes capability enhancements across people, process, and technology for the Bank to strengthen its conflict management program. This senior professional will work alongside the Stream Lead and Program Director to ensure key activities (e.g., planning, execution management & control, and delivery of key milestones) and overall project objectives are achieved. Key focus for the role will also be on the management of program financials, ensuring accuracy of financial forecast and understanding of variances where these have occurred.
Responsibilites:
• Execute and manage the project schedule, tracking progress against plan and identifying risks that could impact delivery
• Collaborate with technology partners to manage and execute the end-to-end project schedule
• Provide project status updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
• Track and manage project risks/issues and mitigation plans, while also ensuring updates against mitigation plans are provided to all stakeholders
• Escalate key issues and risks in collaboration with the Stream Lead and Program Director
• Develop project management artifacts (e.g., high level project plan), many of which will need to be socialized with key stakeholders
• Provide oversight to Business Analysts during configuration design and testing ensuring activities and deliverables are being executed as planned
• Work with subject matter experts and other project stakeholders to ensure key considerations are incorporated into the project schedule and expectations are achieved
• Support/co-ordinate development of key project deliverables
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that would present a risk to timely implementation of the project
• Ensure alignment to the Bank’s delivery methodology throughout project execution
• Assist with other key project priorities as needed (e.g., resource onboarding)
Must Have Skills:
1) 5+ experience years working on large scale Regulatory/Compliance technology implementation projects
2) 5+ years’ experience of project management experience at a senior project manager level in the FI
3)Experience with CA-PPM or any similar project management tools
4) Proficiency with Microsoft (PPT, Word, Excel)
5)5+ years’ experience with financial and budget management
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
2)Jira experience
3)Bilingual (Spanish)
Education:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering related program
