Regulatory Exam Readiness Manager 
Hiring Manager: Manager, Governance and Oversight
Location Address: Hybrid - 4 King West 9th floor Toronto – 1 day (Wed) in office/week for now, flexible
Contract Duration: 1 year


Business group: Office of the COO – Global AML ATF – soon the mandate/group title will be changing as there has been some changes –managing risk management; support on strategic projects; managing SVP and VP committees and some leadership groups; providing insights to board report; have content for them; assisting with financial crimes; anti money laundering; bribery
Project: FINTRAC Exam Readiness – high priority regulatory Program which impact all value streams. Every few years there is a regulatory exam; there were issues in the previous one; now there is a mock up project and reviewing all documentation from last time and ensuring the Bank is ready for the next one happening in late 2023.

Responsibilities:
The Regulatory Exam Readiness Manager will contribute to the overall success of Canadian Banking ensuring regulatory interactions are executed / delivered with high quality of materials and in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
• Responsible for supporting and coordinating supervisory exam management, continuous regulatory monitoring interactions, and reporting to management and committees on regulatory topics. The role includes partnering closely with business unit and control function management and staff to support their regulatory interactions.
• Assists with improving quality of regulatory submissions by providing through review of materials and supporting enhancement of presentations for consistency and branding.
• Manages coordination of interactions with internal stakeholders and CB regulators, including but not limited to:
o Supporting CB oversight for regulatory examinations and regulatory monitoring
o Collaborating with CB Business and Control Function staff to support their regulatory interactions, if needed
o Developing presentations for senior management meetings with regulatory stakeholders and regular reporting on regulatory matters to senior bank stakeholders and committees


Must Have Skills:
1) 8+ years of Compliance and Regulatory Exam Management experience within financial services, a consulting firm or equivalent
2) Strong skills in Microsoft tools including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Familiarity with rules, regulations and laws within financial services a plus
2) Project management skills would be an asset
3) Demonstrated knowledge of AML, ATF and Sanctions


Education:
