Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Secret Cleared Senior Business Analyst to review current state reporting structure and data validation for financial reporting projects. 

Project Description:
The Centre is currently improving the data structure, format and validation logic across all of its prescribed financial transaction reports.  The BA will be joining an established project in flight and be responsible at a high level for working with the stakeholders (Compliance Team, Intelligence Team, Technical Delivery Team, External Reporting Entity Community) to define the next generation structure for financial transaction reporting forms. 

Must Haves:

• Reviewing of current state report structure and data validation rules - (5+ years)
• Improving data structure, format and validation (3+ years)
• XML/JSON as a formatting language used to define basic array, object, name/value - (1+ year) 
• Data models (e.g. Entity Relationship Diagrams) - (1+ year) 
• Data Governance (e.g. usage of Data Dictionary, concepts of Data Lineage) - (1+ year) 
• HTTP for client server communication - (1+ year) 
• RESTFul API as a web service - (1+ year) 

Responsibilities: 

• Review of current state report structure and validation rules
• Proactive work with Business Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to collaborate and understand the changing needs in the Compliance regulatory environment.
• Definition of future state report structure and validation rules to address gaps and improve the value of the report
• Definition and elaboration of scenarios that must be supported in the design of new reports
• Definition of field-level and cross-field validation logic to support regulatory-driven business rules
• Create, modify, optimize and maintain business rules that will be implemented in a backend rules engine
• Ensure all changes from the business are coordinated with the development team and applied accurately in the form of validation rules
• Provide options and recommendations when conducting impact analysis (upstream and downstream impacts) when there are changes
• Raise issues and/or gaps during the gathering, analyzing, and documenting of business rules and requirements
• Seeks opportunities for gains in automation and business process efficiency
• Lead meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, follow up on action items, and record decisions
