The University is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Agile Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams in the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies. The Agile Coach will play a critical role in the success of our organization by working closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify areas of improvement, establish best practices, and drive the adoption of Agile principles throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic education, guidance and coaching to several Information Security teams on Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand-ups.
  • Work with leadership to establish and maintain an Agile framework, artifacts, and governance model.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's ability to deliver value.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Monitor and report on team performance and progress using metrics such as Velocity, Sprint burndown, and other key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate Agile adoption for new teams and assist in the transition of existing teams to an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the Agile process aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
Must Haves:
  • 7+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of multiple Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and others.
  • Professional certification in Agile such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA) or similar is a plus.
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams in the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
