S.i .Systems Vancouver client is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to create, manage and improve Azure Cloud infrastructure, builds, and deployments on Azure and support the migration from on-prem to Cloud - RITM0053687.
1 year contract to start, preferrably Vancouver based, open to Remote (PST hours)

Must Have:
- 6+ years of CI/CD automation experience
- Hands-on experience in Automation techniques and strong Code Development with some of the following: PowerShell, DCS, Azure ARM templates, Terraform, Python, Java, Groovy.
- Specialized knowledge of configuration management, CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Azure DevOps.
- Experience with automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.
- Experience provisioning, managing and leveraging distributed logging, monitoring, and dashboarding tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Azure Monitor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere, containers experience in either Docker, Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Identify, design, and develop automation solutions to create, manage and improve Azure cloud infrastructure, Builds and Deployments on Azure.
- Participate in the cloud migration projects, migrating workloads and porting existing on-prem CI/CD pipelines to Azure.
- Support the technologies for continuous build, integration, and deployment of software into a highly secured enterprise environment.
- Participate in the design of service automation in cloud towards Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Design and plan enterprise-scale cloud environments including application dependencies, data storage and flow, network connectivity and overall cloud hosting
- Develop patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability and security
- Develop and maintain up-to-date architectural templates, build and operational documentation of the technical environment
- Continuously enhance the capability, security and experience of the enterprise hybrid cloud
