Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking Senior Bilingual Business Analysts to align application requirements with common business processes from various business lines to successfully deliver on Business Transformation Initiatives 

Description: 

Grants are supported on various platforms which are developed and maintained within the common services divisions in the Information and Innovation Services (IIS) division. This division leads business transformation initiatives and provides project and product management services at the branch level. The business transformation initiatives examine existing business processes associated with various regulatory activities, establish common business processes, develop business requirements and implement information technology (IT) solutions. The Project Delivery Office (PDO) has several high priority initiatives already approved in order to implement corporate priorities or to be compliant with GoC standards and directives. IIS is a key driver of moving these initiatives forward and will need to align application requirements with common business processes from various business lines in order to successfully deliver on these commitments.

Must Haves: 
  • A degree, diploma or certificate in Business Analysis or a related field from a recognized Canadian University, College, Program or the equivalent as established by a recognized Canada academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside of Canada, Related fields include:
    • Information Management
    • Computer Science
    • Business Administration
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Engineering.​
  • 3+ years working with a CRM System
  • 10+ years  working with "Agile-like" methodology 
Nice to Have: 
  • Bilingual (English/French) 

Deliverables
  • Assist in the planning, development and provide support to lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions. Note: Client is a bilingual organization and communicate with stakeholders in both official languages.Business Analysts will be required to attend and facilitate meetings in both official languages;
    • Create product roadmap(s) (excel) and associated strategies and plans;
    • Support data consolidation across all systems
    • Define quality attributes, interfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements;
    • Represent requirements using alternate views: analysis models/diagrams;
    • Attend and contribute to all project status, scrum, team and status related meetings including but not limited to daily scrums, refinement sessions, retrospectives, roadmap meetings and sprint reviews;
    • visual process maps (Microsoft Visio) to help support overall business understanding;
    • Meeting, presentation and work session materials (e.g. summary/minutes of what was discussed, briefing notes, decks, engagement tools, documentation and records of decision) for a variety of participant levels and roles;
    • Status updates;
    • Facilitate coaching and knowledge transfer activities including training materials, demonstration materials, written instructions and guidance documents.
