Story Behind the Need
Business group: Regulatory Data Governance \
The Data Management and Quality team is responsible for Enterprise Data Quality Governance and Issue Management activities throughout the Enterprise. Our mandate is to enable and establish a culture of Data Governance by continued measurement, monitoring and controls applied throughout the data lifecycle. The main function of the Business Analyst role is to support administration and data governance activities, support operational activities and new initiatives related to the strategic goals of the team. This role ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies and procedures.
Project: Data Remediation Audit Program - The incumbent is responsible for supporting the overall KPI strategy and deployment of the Dashboard.
Responsibiltiies:
• Support Governance team and CDO stakeholders to establish KPI, KRI and Metrics
• Maintain and develop dashboards in PowerBI
• Maintain and optimize tracking mechanism to improve operational
• Manage both internal and external stakeholder expectation
Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of previous Business Analyst work experience
2) 5+ years of experience developing and creating Power BI dashboard, KPI, KRI and metrics (The candidate must know
how to use Power BI in and out)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Previous experience with enterprise uses of data and general data flows within a large enterprise
• Experience with tools and software used to extract and analyze data
• Abilities to explain complex ideas in laymen terms
Soft Skills Required:
• Strong decision-making, forward-thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
• Understanding of data concepts (metadata, data mapping, data quality, data modeling, etc.)
• General understanding of data models, data relationships, mapping lineage and business rules
• Knowledge of computer programming and system architecture concepts
• Substantive knowledge of tools and software used to extract and analyze data
Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Engineering, and relevant fields is required.
