Senior Business Analyst to design SharePoint sites for an Information Architecture Framework roll out

Our valued Public Sector requires two Senior Business Analysts to design SharePoint sites for an Information Architecture Framework roll out. 

They are implementing an enterprise IM framework on the M365 tenant and there is a need for significant business analysis, awareness, education and communication required to ensure the various tools are adopted leveraging IM best practices.


Tasks:

• Engage with IM Leads to design and configure their SharePoint sites in order to bring the most business value
• Provide verbal and written advice, guidance, recommendations and briefings to the IM Community as the Information Architecture Framework is rolled out
• Assess and take inventory of SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, and Teams sites that are under their IM lead, Branch, or Region.
• Identify gaps from current state to desired future
• Engage with site owners to assess relevancy and business purposes of sites
• Analyze and group inventory of sites within a pre-defined SPO hub-structure
• Identify opportunities for aligning existing sites to IM accredited site templates
• Supporting SharePoint Admins in building hubs and in configuring the site design/landing page
• Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives
• Work with IM Leads to provision Sites and Libraries using EIM framework

Must-haves:

- Experience configuring SharePoint Online / M365
- Experience working on an Information Management (IM) project for the Government of Canada
