Our valued Public sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to lead process reviews.
The team is designing a solution that will act as a one stop shop for all internal services, beginning with Human Resources and Real Property and Security Services.
The objectives of the portal are:
The Business Analyst will support the project lead to develop business requirements, lead process reviews including facilitating consultations with stakeholders, and evaluate existing business processes to identify the best options to onboard them onto the portal, with the aim of streamlining processing and improving workflows
Tasks:
Must-haves:
- Experience on 3+ projects leading process reviews/creating journey maps
- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst for the Government of Canada
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in HR and/or Real Propert and Security Service Delivery
- Relevant Business Analyst certification

- to streamline business processes, where possible, so that service providers can be more efficient
The Business Analyst will support the project lead to develop business requirements, lead process reviews including facilitating consultations with stakeholders, and evaluate existing business processes to identify the best options to onboard them onto the portal, with the aim of streamlining processing and improving workflows
Tasks:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Producing end-to-end journey maps on corporate services.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Remain up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Must-haves:
- Experience on 3+ projects leading process reviews/creating journey maps
- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst for the Government of Canada
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in HR and/or Real Propert and Security Service Delivery
- Relevant Business Analyst certification
