Responsibilities: 
 

• The role operates within the Portfolio & Change Management (PCM) group and will function primarily as a Senior Business Analyst (BA) /BA Lead
• Work directly with relevant participants to define project parameters, success criteria, solutions, and timelines while deploying best practices in process analysis, requirements documentation, project planning, testing, and stakeholder communication
• Manage testing initiatives and participate where required
• Analyze workflow processes by creating Business Process Maps for existing and proposed operational processes and systems and recommend associated solutions
• Lead meetings to resolve problems / inefficiencies and work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Project Manager to help outline solutions
• Prepare accurate, timely and compliant documents/reports, with a focus on Business Requirements
• Consistent delivery of high-quality service with a view to exceeding client expectations
• Liaise with IT teams during development of Functional Specification and Design documents
• Manage multiple project tasks
• Manage project communications including status reports to all stakeholders
• Maintain effective internal and external working relationships
• Develop user guides and training materials as required
• Tracking and reporting on project status in consistent format to senior management.
• Escalation of any events requiring management attention on a timely basis.
• Provide concise and effective updates to the Associate Director and Director, Portfolio Change Management, as well as to the Project Manager where applicable

Project: Project Darwin –  replacing legacy derivatives and trading settlement platform with a new one.  Currently in its 3^rd phase of migration of trading books. The PCM team is global with the team split up between US, CA and UK.  This role will report into the Canadian PCM team.

Must Haves: 

• 4-7+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working with derivatives (OTC, credit, commodities, equity), trading settlement platforms
• Experience with UAT initiatives

Nice to Haves: 

• Bachelor's in Business Management/Administration or related field or relevant work experience
