Our Public Sector Client is seeking Senior Business Analyst to support a data fix that is apart of an internal system.

Changes made as part of  the past Release have led to downstream impacts on Paid Reps ability to submit application from APR, such as blocking the submission of applications and mismatching of applications to certain applicants IDs. Key sectors across the Department have been working to remedy the issues through manual actions in on prem and in virtual environements. A data fix on targeted applicant IDs that are part of a “household” is part of multiple short, medium and long term actions needed to eliminate errors and stabilize the systems.
 
Responsibilites:
  1. Schedule, plan and lead sessions with clients and partners to gather business information, lessons learned and detailed requirements for the desired outcome on a  weekly basis, with the objective of implementing a project solution or to solve a system issue impacting the ongoing operations of this department;
  2. Provide Business walkthrough to the technical team of the detailed business requirements;
  3. Maintain constant engagement with the client (client management) to ensure the end product is meeting their business needs;
  4. Support the full range of Integration team (Functional, Siebel, Angular, Java, EAI, Biz doc) with business and technical design related questions;
  5. Identify the potential sources of data, perform data analysis based on the gathered business rules and develop Data Mapping documents;
  6. Develop and deliver business process models;
  7. Create tickets in TFS to document the various change request that will support the development cycle of the solution and give a priority to each tickets based on internal methodology;
  8. Work with external partners and departments (as needed) regarding technology and/or processes that were potentially impacted;
  9. Lead working group involving various internal and external stakeholders;
  10. Document change requests (CRs) and post-release defects analysis;
  11. Support the Development, Design, Architecture and QA team by holding business requirements clarification meetings on a scheduled or as needed basis.
