Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a high profile modernization project 

Scope and Objectives

The Contractor’s resource will provide professional services in support the modernization of a high profile enterprise wide process. The contractor will be required to schedule and lead planning sessions with client to gather business requirements to develop detailed business requirements/user stories; develop screen mock-ups, business process maps and data flow diagrams; provide walkthroughs to client and technical teams in relation to detailed business requirements/user stories; document change requests and perform post-release requirements tests and analysis. The contractor will perform other duties as deemed necessary by the technical authority.

  1. Schedule, plan and lead sessions with clients and partners to gather business information, lessons learned and detailed requirements for the desired outcome on a  weekly basis, with the objective of implementing a project solution or to solve a system issue impacting the ongoing operations;
  2. Develop and document screen, report and interface requirements;
  3. Develop functional, business, and/or system interface or capability interaction;
  4. Gather and analyze information to establish the functional needs of a system or project;
  5. Develop and Develop , test and implement small computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systems;
  6. Provide walkthroughs to technical team, before the start of every Sprint (2 weeks iteration) with the detailed business requirements;
  7. Support the full range of Integration team (Functional, Siebel, Angular, Java, EAI, Biz doc) with business and technical design related questions;
  8. Identify the potential sources of data, perform data analysis based on the gathered business rules and develop Data Mapping documents;
  9. Work with external partners and departments regarding technology and/or processes with them that were potentially impacted;
  10. Documenting change requests (CRs) and post-release defects analysis;
  11. Support the Development, Design, Architecture and QA team by holding business requirements clarification meetings on a scheduled or as needed basis.
  12. Provide Functional and Impact Analysis documents;
  13. Develop, revise and implement business context documentation and detailed requirement documents using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and work-flow analysis using the following software/tools:  MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GC Docs;
  14. Develop Backlog items, User Stories, gap analysis, Options analysis, Use cases, Business requirement document, functional specifications, data mapping every two weeks for the new features being added to the tool;
  15. Develop and implement both as-is and to-be Business Process Maps to determine the end to end flows.  Information about the process is gathered and compiled using Visio documents allowing easier communication to, and access by, multiple stakeholders using the following software/tools: Visio and EA Sparx;.
Must haves:
This resoure must have 5+ years working in an Agile environment.
This resoure must have 8+ years of experience as a Business analyst 
This resoure must have 5+ years has experience liasing with internal and external stakeholders
