Our valued Public Sector clients are in need of a Senior Business Analyst to support the requirements gathering and consolidation to assist in the planning for national level transformation initiatives.

Background:

Our valued Public Sector clients Project Management Office is responsible for the delivery and management of several mission critical systems which support the day-to-day operations of the organization on a national scale as our client prepare for upcoming transformation initiatives they would which impact a suite of business applications and operation procedures our clients would like to bring on a Senior Business Analyst to support the requirements gathering and consolidation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyzing information and presenting findings on complex issues, carrying out or coordinating research as required and preparing reports
  • Analyze, advising on, and implementing business processes, strategies, and functions;
  • Lead and manage various business systems and process improvements (for example, initiating redesign to promote increased efficiencies and reduce overall costs, implementing improvements to automation of process);
  • Recognize market factors and adapting business decisions to the context of the organization's sector and industry;
  • Analyze and document the business requirements and delivering work products through the life cycle;
  • Assess the organization's capacity/capability to undertake and successfully deliver an initiative or a change;
  • Consult with stakeholders (individually or by means of facilitating group sessions) to identify comprehensive business requirements;
  • Provide support in analyzing, evaluating, and controlling risks, especially related to requirements;
  • Manage the implementation of an organizational improvement plan to identify, analyze, plan, track, and control organizational improvements on a continuous basis;
  • Perform Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis when producing a business case to determine whether further investment in a project is warranted;
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
  • Analysis and development of architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping
Must Have:
  • Federal clearance at the level of Enhanced Reliability (Level 1) or above
  • Valid certificate related to IM/IT Governance or Service Management
