Senior Business Analyst with Cash Prime Brokerage Experience to gather and document business and functional requirements for one of our large banking clients- 30439

Location Address: Hybrid (2-3 days/week), 44 King Street W 19th Floor
Contract Duration: 7 months (Possibility of Extension)
Schedule Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Prime Services, Collateral Management & Funding Engineering (PCME)
• Project: Cash Prime Broker platform. This involves working with business stake holders and product development group in defining business requirements, and interfacing with vendor for providing solutions to business. Candidate should be comfortable in supporting business stakeholders and working with vendor in designing solutions for Cash PB platform in an independent mode.

Candidate Value Proposition

• The successful candidate will act as business analyst for Cash Prime Broker platform in the Prime Services group. This role will provide the candidate with extensive opportunity to interact directly with Product Development, Client Solutions and Middle Office in Toronto and NYC.

Typical Day in Role

• Work closely with business stakeholders in the Prime Service business in understanding business requirements, and work closely with vendor for deliverables.
• Analyze and document business and functional requirements as per business needs.
• Must be able to test and analyze data as part of data testing using various tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL tools etc.
• Work with production support & software vendor teams in providing day-to-day support of Cash PB Transactions processing system
• Analyze and understand the deliverables as per business needs and work on the allocated tasks based on priority.
• Work closely within the BA/Dev team and QA team as part of system testing.

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ Years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
• 5+ years’ extensive experience with Cash Prime Brokerage process flows, data and systems
• Advanced working experience using SQL on databases such as Oracle, Sybase etc.
• Experience in testing and analyzing data as part of data analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is a must.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Past experience with system ownership (as development lead, etc.) a plus.
• Microsoft Visio a plus.
• Experience with JIRA a plus.
• Post-trade operations technology team experience would be an asset.

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor of Science or related field required.
