Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Business Consultant who can assist in the creation of policies and procedures that centralize a subscription approval process.
Background:
Our valued Public Sector client currently holds a large volume of subscriptions to various data and news sources which includes examples such as Bloomberg financial reports. Due to the high volume of subscriptions, it has resulted a significant amount of unnecessary costs affecting overall budget. In order to clean up their subscriptions our clients would like bring on a Senior Business Consultant who can assist in establishing scalable policies and procedures that improve the approval/denial of subscription with the end goal of reducing cost and increasing efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Develop process for evaluating subscription requests based on a cost/benefit perspective.
- Provide recommendations on appropriate governance for the subscription management program.
- Develop, validate, and socialize policy on subscription management at the organization, that details roles and responsibilities, monitoring data usage and compliance around data use terms.
- Create library of subscription information, including quick fact sheets detailing use restrictions, available resources, and instructions for requesting access.
- Develop tools for tracking contracts.
- Prepare materials for meetings.
- Actively participate in meetings with stakeholders to brainstorm, provide updates on work and be assigned tasks.
- Government of Canada clearance at the level of Enhanced (level 1) or above
