Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Communications Consultant to execute communication strategies and products (bulletins, emails, intranet content) for IM/IT automation projects.  
 
Project Description:
The Communications Resource will be required to communicate the impacts and benefits of various transformation initiatives to the user community and promote adoption of new tools and systems. Some of the projects that will be supported are the following:

• Process mining and robotic process automation
• Accounts Payable Project
• Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO)
• Roles & Authorization (R&A) Rationalization Project

Must Haves:

• Education (Degree or Diploma)
• IT System or Application Implementation Project
• Executing communication strategies for technology or transformation projects - 10+ years 
• Crown Corporations or Federal Government experience - 3+ years

Nice to Haves:

• Bilingual (French/English)

 
Tasks Preformed but not limited too:

• Lead in the development and review of financial management procedures, job aids, communiqués, presentation decks, various tools and other communications as needed on a range of financial management topics;
• Lead and/or assist in the development, review, maintenance and implementation of communication and change management strategies, including the creation of material such as intranet content, business procedures, communiqués, briefing notes, and presentation decks for ongoing business process renewal projects.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure communications activities/deliverables are completed as scheduled and that communications are clearly understood by listening to feedback from the organization;
• Developing and implementing strategic communication plans in geographically dispersed organizations going through an organizational transformation.
• Providing communications consultation advice to support strategic communications initiatives and strategies;
• Developing and implementing creative communication and information products using a variety of tools, techniques and media and selecting an appropriate medium to convey information, ideas, and results;
• Providing strategic, functional and outreach communications and change management advice as required. In addition, the consultant should identify, assess and report communications issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation, execution, monitoring and update of monthly project status reports, project team meetings, stakeholder meetings, and working groups as required, In addition, guide and support communications activities in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update the department, and other stakeholders on project progress.
