Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Computer Application Support Specialist to support the continued development of automated processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in support of various initiatives.

The department’s mandate is to become a digital organization that provides a user-centric digital experience that is efficient and focused on quality. This will be achieved through modernizing and deploying their mission critical systems in the cloud as part of our digital transformation initiative. The department has begun to use Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies to automate typically manually digital processes that are currently being done by the staff. Automation of these manual processes and tasks will improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels and free up the department’s staff to work on other value- added tasks.
 
Deliverables:
  • Analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements;
  • Selection of most impactful and scalable RPA implementations;
  • Development of RPA solutions and implementation within a variety of processes in relation to stakeholder expectations;
  • Designing, configuring, and deploying RPA infrastructure components;
  • Providing training to end users on operation and maintenance of the end implemented solutions;
  • Recommending new processes to support the RPA client base;
  • Create presentations and present to various stakeholders while facilitating discussions around the RPA capabilities;
  • Perform knowledge transfer to employees
 
Tasks:
  • Coordinating emerging technology application specifications
  • Serving as a user support liaison between vendors, information systems technicians, and end-user departments
  • Providing training expertise and direction in the area of emerging technology and special application support
  • Emulating or reproducing technical problems encountered by users
  • Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Recommending and implementing complex security requirements
  • Providing business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collecting, organizing and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by others
  • Verifying accuracy and completeness of work performed
  • Designing, configuring and deploying server-based file systems and applications
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving complex technical problems
  • Recommending new products or processes which support and enhance the user groups business activities
  • Planning or participating in the implementation of a department wide system upgrades.
 
Must haves:
  • A university degree or a college/CEGEP diploma (minimum 3-year program) in at least one of the following fields of study:
    • Computer Science;
    • Software Engineering; or
    • Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Solutions using UiPath on projects
  • Active Reliability clearance
