Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires a Senior Cybersecurity Architect required to implement Organizational Cybersecurity Strategy across the Enterprise.

The Cybersecurity Program is comprised of multiple projects to improve the overall security posture across Client’s Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments and to prepare for and adapt to emerging threats.  
The Cybersecurity Architect will build/upgrade the Client’s security infrastructure in response to ongoing changes in the security landscape, including new risks and adherence to applicable regulations.
In this role, the successful candidate will lead the planning, designing, testing and implementation of security controls for IT/IOT and OT/IIOT environments via multiple security initiatives as well as flawless transition to steady state.

  •  Minimum 10 years’ experience leading technical implementations of at least 3 complex, highly visible and interdependent,  Information Technology projects  
  • At least 5years working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x and higher as it relates to security solutions implementation
  • Broad experience with security technologies and tools such as EDR/MDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, Ticketing integration, Threat & Vulnerability Management, DLP, Patch Management, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and other network security platforms
  • CISSP/CISM/GISP/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Experience with technology infrastructure and components, such as: Data center technologies, Cloud computing, operating systems, databases, networking technologies, Operational Technology (ICS/SCADA/PLCs), and storage infrastructure (i.e. Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage)
  • Experience with designing and implementing Identity and Access management solutions, multi-factor authentication and related technologies
  • Intimately familiar with IAM related protocols such as SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OpenID and OAuth and experience with Directories, SSO, Federation, Delegated administration, API gateways, SOA services.
  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business needs to achieve positive business outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related discipline
