Senior Data Architect with Data Modelling experience to map in-scope ERP data sets to an Enterprise Data Model (EDM)

Our Oil & Gas downtown Calgary client is seeking a Senior Data Architect with Data Modelling experience to map in-scope ERP data sets to an Enterprise Data Model (EDM). This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. 

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years' experience within Master Data Management (MDM)
• 8+ years' Data modelling for Data Transformation (SQL/Python/Data Flows/Data Pipelines/etc.)
• Financials and Supply Chain business knowledge

Nice-to-have:

• Working knowledge/ experience with CluedIn MDM
• Oil & Gas specific Financials and Supply Chain business knowledge

Responsibilities Overview:

• Map in-scope ERP data sets to the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) – in collaboration with and under the guidance of senior data architects 
• Recommend enhancements or additions to the baseline EDM as necessary to resolve gaps or identified issues 
• Work with Data Engineering Architects to create database tables and/or event streams as necessary to enable all data interoperability and BI/reporting infrastructure required to complete project and enterprise deliverables 
• Configure and maintain Data Catalogue and Data Lineage metadata within MDM Platform and MS Azure Purview between source and EDM schemas 
• Implement eventing workflow solutions within MDM Platform to support orchestration of data mastering across multiple systems of record, for approval workflows and notifications, and for enterprise publish/subscribe facilitation 
• Work with the EA MDM architect to implement all necessary logging, audit, access and control, dashboard, engine room monitoring, and other operating components necessary to transition ERP-specific solutions and components to Operations 

Location: Must be willing to come into the office in Calgary 2 days/week. There is option for remote work currently, however this could change to 2 days at anytime.
