Our national retail client in looking for a Senior Data Analyst to conduct data profiling, data sourcing and collecting data sets that will then be staged in the GCP data lake for the financial team - 27094

Duration: 1 year:

Location: Mississauga (only need to go onsite for important meetings)

Responsibilities:

• The Data Analyst will work alongside the data engineering and information technology teams to provide data related support, data investigation, sourcing, and data profiling
• Conduct data sourcing activities to collect data sets from various source systems that will then be staged in the Google Data Lake (BigQuery)
• Conduct data profiling and document functional specifications during use case automation and development
• Create data maps, data flows, and work with large data sets for data warehouse activities

Must Haves:

• Creating Data Flows and Data Models using SQL
• Cloud data projects (GCP preferred)
• Data profiling and Data sourcing
• Experience with retail financial data or corporate finances (FP&A, GL, Sales actuals P&L etc)
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence within a Agile Scrum workflow
