Our Client is looking for a Senior Human Factors Consultant specializing in ergonomics to complete research and design for the user experience of a military client
Please note--Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or USA Citizen with Canadian PR and must have lived in Canada for the past 5 years.
Must Haves:
- 6-8 years of experience in any of Ergonomics, Human Factors, Industrial Design or Human Systems
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Ergonomics, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Design, Biomechanics, Systems Design, or related discipline with course work in human factors engineering/ergonomics.
- Experience leading physical ergonomic/human factors design effort to identify end user needs such as:
- anthropometric and strength analysis
- ergonomic safety concerns
- personas generation
- task analysis
- workload assessment
- cognitive and physical concern identification
- employing first principles
- Experience completing research about various standards and identifying solutions to ensure a more effective and usable user interface
- Experience completing anthropometric modelling and analysis of key parameters such as:
- Siemens Process Simulate
- Process Simulate Human
- the JACK modelling predecessor
- Applying HFE standards and contractual requirements to the equipment and system design process
