Our client is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management developer to help modify an existing Customer IdM service (myID) within an Azure B2C environment

Calgary-based client. 37.5 hour work week. Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada 

Must have's:  
  • 7 years' overall IT experience developing and delivering or supporting successful Identity and Access Management projects.
  • 5 years' experience with Azure AD/B2C/B2B
  • 3 years' experience working as lead developer of minimal 3 Azure B2C implementations (projects should have minimal 500K users provisioned)
  • 3 years' development and configuration experience with SQL Server, MS IIS;
  • 3 years' development and configuration experience with Active Directory, LDAP, PowerShell 
  • 3 years' development experience on SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect
  • Understanding of ASP.NET and C#

Nice to have's:
  • Development experience with Microsoft Identity Manager
  • Development experience with Microsoft Azure AD Single Sign On, MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, and ADFS
  • Development experience with Microsoft Azure App Service platform
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels;
  • Previous work experience with municipal or other large government organizations;
  • Knowledge and working experience with the following: PingFederate, Microsoft Azure AD/B2B/B2c, 2-factor authentication/MFA, Microsoft PKI Infrastructure, and certificate life cycle management.

The story behind the need: 
  • A Senior IdM Developer is required to modify the existing Customer Identity Access Management service (myID). Responsibilities include: systems analyzing, coding, configuration, testing, bug fixing, incident/problem management, and documenting for the enhancement of myID service

A day in the life of the IdM developer: 
  • Analyze myID enhancement requirements
  • Modify the existing Dev/Test/Prod myID/Azure B2C system to meet the new requirements
  • Web API service development and deployment in Azure B2C App Service platform
  • Revisit current Azure B2C deployment architecture and make adjustment accordingly for future sustainment
  • Document the changes
