Senior IT Infrastructure Architects (Solution Leads) to perform IT infrastructure design for datacentre infrastructure refresh and disaster recovery

Our valued public sector client is seeking a  Sr. Infrastructure Architect/Solution Lead roles to perform IT infrastructure design for datacentre infrastructure refresh, new datacentre infrastructure and disaster recovery for critical applications. The roles will support implementation teams with expertise to perform the implementation.

Location: Toronto (2 days/week onsite)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract

Must Have:

• Minimum 8 years IT infrastructure experience in large environments and minimum 4 years performing Infrastructure Architect/Solution Lead role on large initiatives. Good knowledge of networking is required.
• Experience designing, integrating and implementing diverse IT infrastructure and disaster recovery across multiple datacentres.
• Strong leadership, design, integration and hands-on implementation experience with many of the following Infrastructure products"
• CCIE cert -  provides the baseline for them, so if we can target CCIE certs or experience that would be great.
• ACI technology
• SCVMM
• Hyper-V Clustering
• VMware Clustering
• Oracle Virtualization, Citrix Virtualization
• Multi-site DR (leveraging Zerto SQL Always On and Oracle Dataguard)
• Load balancers (F5 GTM and LTM, Citrix ADC)
• Storage (HPE Brocade Fibre Channel SAN, SanNav, Primera and Nimble)
• Compute (Synergy Platform)
• Operating Systems (Windows and Redhat Servers)
• NetBackup,
• Active Directory
• Security (CIS Hardening)
• Monitoring systems (OEM, OpsBridge, SCOM, Prime)
• Management Systems (SCCM and Ansible).

Nice to Have:

• Infrastructure automation experience is an asset.
