Senior IT QA Analyst with automation testing experience for various Oil & Gas enablement, data lake, and machine learning initiatives

Our large Oil & Gas client is seeking a Senior IT QA Analyst with automation testing experience for various Oil & Gas product enablement, data lake, and machine learning initiatives

This is an initial 1-year contract to start in January 2024. The successful candidate will follow a hybrid working model (3 days in office/week) in the heart of Downtown Calgary!

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years' experience as a QA Analyst
• 3+ years' experience with test automation (i.e., WebDriver, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD)
• AWS cloud experience (greenfield development, re-platforming, and lift & shift)
• Python coding and scripting experience
• Experience with projects following Agile delivery methods
• Experience with test driven development and server-side automated testing (i.e., unit testing)

Nice-to-Haves:

• ML/AI experience
• AWS Cloud Certifications
• Experience with git source control

Responsibilities Overview:

• Support cutting edge innovation projects using AWS cloud native technologies, advanced analytics, AI & Machine Learning
• Build and manage a robust quality assurance strategy on initiatives
• Perform manual testing on new features
• Implement automated testing including both server-side and user interface
• Participate in agile delivery and project sprints
