Our client is looking for a Senior Java (Spring) Developer to provide support to existing Middleware applications
This is a 12 month contract (possible extension) in Ottawa (remote to start, moving to hybrid)
Responsibilites:
- Support ongoing and future projects as well as to provide support to existing Middleware application.
- Working with developers and testers from the middleware project team to understand current development and testing and implement fix solutions whenever required.
Must have Skills:
- Java
- Spring
- JAXB, SOAP, JMS, Maven, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of security concepts (WS-* security, SSL).
- Understanding Application Servers JBOSS, Apache Tomcat.
- IDE (Netbeans, or Eclipse or similar IDEs).
- Comfortable on Solaris and Linux (CentOs, RedHat).
- Knowledge of Clouds solution (e.g. OpenShift).
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Enterprise Data Broker development
- Experience with JScape
- Experience with file transfer services (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, heuristics)
- Willing to provide 24x7 3rd level support on a rotational basis
