Senior Java Systems Analyst (Swing, J2EE) to assist in the modernization of a returns based taxation system

Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Java Systems Analyst (Swing, J2EE) to assist in the modernization of a returns based taxation system.

The scope of this task consists of providing leadership and direction in support of the analysis and implementation of the system.  Currently the requirement is to complete analysis, coding and documentation using Java Swing and J2EE.

Tasks/Deliverables:

• Design and document detailed specifications.
• Design data structures and files, sub-systems and modules, programs (mostly online, but potentially batch as well), and production monitoring procedures, testing strategy and systems.
• Document unit, regression, integration, end to end, and performance testing as required.
• Report progress on an ongoing basis.
• Design, develop and maintain interfaces between new and existing systems.
• Design and document, in detail, all system components and their interfaces.
• Complete coding of Java components.
• Complete system documentation including system use cases and change management administration.

Must haves:

• 10 years experience in Enterprise level Java development
• 8 years experience in a large organization (+1000 Employees)
